The Ford transit 0-60 is reported in the 7's. I guess 400lbs of torque can get you off the line.
We had a 2016 Transit T250 Medium Roof with the 3.5L EcoBoost. 6’ headroom. Not governed to 82mph.....
It would easily roast the rear tires, and towed an over 5,000 lb car trailer like nothing. MPG was in the 16-18 range, using Regular. Around here that fuel is 25-50 cents per gallon less, so operating fuel cost is similar.
We have what is probably the quickest Sprinter, a basic standard roof 118”. It keeps up with traffic and has respectable acceleration at “Getting on highway” speeds. 0-60 isn’t really a “real world” performance measure, 20-40 or 30-60 is a lot more important.
My track bike is a Suzuki GSX-R750, one of many street motorcycles that will do 0-60 in under 3 seconds: again, never done it. You can
start accelerating at 60mph and it will rip your face off....
