Default What do you think of the Advanced RV Sprinter?

I was just sent a sneak peak of the Oceans One. The first Sprinter model Advanced RV is showing the public.
What do you think of it?
I was hoping they would offer a none propane option. So far, they have not shown a floor plan that I can find.

Interested to see and hear more. Since I'm just an hour away from them, I contacted them through their site first, and got a response from Mike. I had also mentioned this forum and that I'd be letting others know about them through here, to which he replied he'd be interested in visiting and checking into the forum.

I wrote a second email asking about possible servicing of other sprinter vehicles as well as a few other questions which arose as a result of his first response to me. Never heard another word.

I will wait awhile, and wait to see their other models on the site before venturing over there.

I must say, I love the underfloor heating idea.

The Ocean One floor plan is now published on their website. It closely resembles the Great West Van Legend EX.

They are converter manufacturers not a service dealership. I've been to their facilities. I thought they were rather magnanimous in mentioning they were willing to work with other Class B owners on a screen door solution. It wasn't clear to me if that was just design and material sales or actual installation. But other than that screen door mention which I think was just their enthusiasm showing, I would think they would have a big task and effort ahead to convert their own Bs and would have no time or personnel that I could see that would service other converted Bs. That simply is not their business.

It's a startup company. Time will tell, but knowing the owner and Mike Ellis, if you have some desires for a B design and what it should have, I think they more than most would be willing to listen and work with you. Interestingly, that kind of interplay is pretty much how the company came about.

Swap the lav/shower & fridge/cabinets and you have a FourWinds Ventura.

Advanced design seems to have more aisle width.

Moot points as Thor/FourWinds doesn't make Ventura any more.

Appears that they sacrificed the larger refrigerator that the GW Legend EX enjoys and put a permanent sink in the bath, but knowing Mike Ellis and his background, possibly he decided "Why change a good thing!".
Hmmmm...........do we sound a bit biased regarding the GW Legend EX??!!
