312d 4 speed auto linkages

Hello everyone, my 312d 2.9 4 speed auto van 298000km started to have trouble with gear lever,thought if gearbox could be the end, i checked underneath and the linkages had come off the pivot, when i tried to replace couldn't get the upright bracket to line up parralell to the shaft ,with some fiddling managed to grt it on and a new circlip it works ok but not ideal, the ball and socket joins are worn, may need to source some new ones if possible and work out how to align properly,while fidling with gear lever with linkages off i got the display to read p r n 4 3 2, i've only got p r n 4 displayed before so must be a problem some where, if anyone has got any ideas on how to line up or adjust linkages would be must helpful thanks nuccan nuccan
