H Hatty New member Mar 23, 2020 #1 Hello I need to replace my 6 speed gearbox, the numbers on the gearbox are as follows:- A 906 260 10 00 There are another set of numbers 711.651 0 0 347 789 Does anyone know what the second set of numbers are? Would any gearbox with the same A906 number fit? Thanks

Cheyenne UK 2004 T1N 313CDi Mar 23, 2020 #2 Hi and welcome, The 906 260 number is the 'Object Number' and 711.620 is the 'Major Assembly Number' for the transmission. Pull your Data Card from https://www.lastvin.com/ and they will be listed under 'Major assemblies'. I would think any transmission with the same numbers should be a straight swap. Keith.

The same casing may be used in other applications, eg MB cars, but then you may have different gear ratios giving a different assembly number. Keith.
