Default Front end alignment & tires

I have had problems with wear on front tires since we bought our Prism three years ago. I can find no one that can align the front end with the modern alignment equipment. I even took it to Freightliner after I exhausted trying to get it aligned by Mercedes. The reason I am being told is that they cannot get a shot (beam) from the rear tires to the front because the Prism box blocks the beam for alignment. Has anyone else had this problem and can anyone offer advice. It is no fun driving the RV when you know it is not correctly aligned on the front end. That is about the only problem I have had but it is a real nuisance. Also can you tell me what tires you would recommend buying. It came with four season Continental tires that i have been told are not too good and cause a bit of a rough ride. Thank you - Mike Wagoner (832) 274-6542

Camber adjustment was a problem causing wear on my RV. Sprinters come without adjustment bolts, they had to be purchased but were less than $20 each for two required. Mine is not a Prism, Metcedes was able to do the alignment.

Thank you Aggie. Wish Mercedes could help me but the living quarters box hanging over the side of the tires prevents the electronic alignment. I have taken it to many places.

Mike, I had the same problem with my Prism. I found an RV dealer who can align it, but told me it that the alignment is fine, however I should rotate the tires every 5000 miles to avoid running down the sides. I am now diligently rotating the tires as advised.

Bumping this post as I am in the exact same boat with our 2016 Prism 2150LE. Also looking at new tires. 30k on the OEM Vanco 4 Seasons Continentals. I was not very diligent on rotations......The outsides of the front tires are absolutely gone.
