Default Pedal Box

FWIW, installed a pedalbox+ on my 2019 this morning. Literally took about 45 seconds. Huge improvement in overall drivability. Drastically reduced the turbo lag when starting from a dead stop and evened out the acceleration overall. Definitely worth it.

Fantastic! How much more MPG's are you getting? I'm getting a good 5-6 more.

Interesting....I haven't had it on long enough to know. I'll have to pay attention, that's an added bonus!

Ive been really considering one... The first 2019 I test drove back in august had HORRIBLE turbo lag, it made me second guess my order... When my van came in last week I was pleasantly surprised that it has little, if any, turbo lag... But I still think a pedal box pro+ would be a nice option if it improves MPG...

Is anyone aware of any dealer issues or warranty issues as a result of using one of these?

I'm quite certain that if you had a check engine light come on, a drive ability issue arise or any other issue MB could connect to the pedal box. Your warranty regarding that matter would be voided.

Driving with the box for 25k kms now. Fuel economy got a bit worse. Probably because the van is more fun to drive. Running with full weight (conversion) on a 2500/170/4x4 and on 255/85-16. Winter wheels are oem and I have to turn the box off in 2x4 with those or else I can see the rubber disappear on the rear axle. Unplugged the box recently for a service and felt the ‘box effect’ was still there. I believe, all it does is a constant transmission reset to factory. So ‘un-learning’ ones driving habits constantly, if that makes sense? Anyhow, glad I got the box and will plug it back in after the service appointment. Can’t see any warranty issues, especially if I’m right about the ‘re-learning/reset’...

well, finally broke down and bought the Pedal Box. Got it today.
took 15 -20 seconds to install. Really!
took the van around the block and results are as promised.
So, my question :
what is your fav setting?
I think I am liking the city mode with +1 for everyday driving.
Like to hear what you have it on.
