Harness for Espar diagnostics/ECU reset

Hi everybody,

I have recently had some issues with my Espar and have had to come up with a way to reset my ECU. I have created a harness that connects to the Espar Digi-Max 1000 controller (See pic) which allows you to collect diagnostic codes and reset the ECU.

I am wondering if anybody is interested in me making this harness for you? It will probably cost somewhere in the ballpark of $100.

Please let me know if there is enough interest for me to buy some extra supplies.

just to clarify (can't see your photo):

1. Westfalia Espar Heater has special wiring harness connectors for wires to go through the metal box enclosure, so standard Espar diagnostic connectors need adapters.

2. This adapter wiring harness connects to ???

3. Background

Another Espar business made and sold a special Westfalia adapter, but then stopped making. See threads below.

4. Sounds like a good idea to at least have the right wiring adapter to convert the Westfalia connector back to an Espar connector.

From there, can then hookup whatever Espar diagnostic standalone or EDITH software is compatible and available.

Kiltym --> I am unsure what ECU I have, didn't know there were 2 different ECU's put in the Westy's Espar. I will look into this.

Oldwest --> Sorry the link to the image isn't working. I have essentially copied the one that Greg at lubrication specialist created. The reason I know how to make it was a Westy owner in Dallas sent me his old harness (I'm guessing he got it from Greg) but wanted it back for future use.

The harness connects to the round 7 pin male connector on the outside of the metal box that contains the Espar, and then connects to the 7 pin female connector that goes to the control center in the cab. Those 2 connectors are spliced in to the connector that goes to the Digi controller.
