CR Lawrence tip-out window stripped

The crank on my CR Laurence tip-out window was over tightened on close, on the sliding door side. I believe it's now stripped because it will not tighten all the way. Anybody know if its possible to fix or do I need to order replacement parts?

Any advise/experience fixing or replacing this would be much appreciated.

Get an AMA half slider.

This has little to do with fixing your CR Lawrence, but if the suppler does not make good and stand by their product without a fee, it may be time to consider another option.

The AMA half sliders always appealed to me over the small flip up CR Lawrences, so I am biased toward a fuller opening window when wanted.

It is possible that only the knob is stripped. We stock those too.

Not sure where you live but Vanco in Sacramento repaired mine for $50 all-in, labor and parts.
