Reversing camera wiring

Just had reversing / backup camera fitted to my van and the guy has taken the power from the interior light. Is this ok to do? If not what is the best place to wire it into (it has effected the radio reception now!) thanks

Model year of Sprinter? (*greatly* affects the answer). If it's 2006 or *older*, it's probably OK.
(and this should have gone under the "T1N" (to 2006) or "NCV3" (2007 and newer) Topic area, not "problems with forum"

Terminals are under the seat, key on, and key on with engine running, and constant 12V. Take your choice they are under the drivers seat on all NAFTA vans not matter what the year.
