That's a good price, although no different than other discount retailers (Walmart price is $19.97 for example.) The only purpose in going to a dedicated auto parts store for commodity items like that is if you want to pay 50% more for the same thing.

I think it is a great price, as T6 is fully synthetic, and assume that is you required spec on back label. However, I think there is some value in using newer spec 229.52, as the lower ash formulas allow for longer change intervals and other improvements that still might benefit the older motor.
