So we will be taking our 24SK from St Louis to Little Rock to visit family and plan on pulling a 6x12 TA enclosed trailer (empty weight 1800) we are only hauling a couch in the trailer so total weight will be close to 2K. do i need to have a trailer brake to pull this or will the Sprinter Brakes be sufficient..

In my view that would be OK for a one-time trip. I sometimes tow a motorcycle trailer in perhaps the 1500 lb. range and it's no problem at all. Just keep in mind that it's back there and allow for some extra stopping distance.

You will have now most likely made your trip :--)) Just for the record the "Owners Manual" notes that "anything" being pulled that weighs in at over 1000# must have it's own brakes.
