More thought on a backup power system:
Design to look a bit like a Hoover upright vacuum cleaner but with large dia. wheels. Storable in a house closet and moveable to location required. Enough capacity to run a refrigerator or CPAP machine. Include battery, inverter/charger/transfer switch, solar controller, Duplex outlet, a couple 12 volt outlets, USB ports, power cord and quick disconnects for solar panel connection.
Would like additional comments about what other features should be included.
Design not meant to run the whole house. Just a limited load for several days.
