I am retiring at the end of january. Bought a 2012 cargo Sprinter and have it converted to a camper. Sink, frig, micro, stov, AC roof unit, and solar panels. This forum looks like a great way to learn about places for use of my Sprinter.

Getting excited, thanks for sharing your experiences.

Casino Camping: Guide to RV-Friendly Casinos by Jane Kenny
I we stay at a lot of tribal rv parks at their Casinos. A lot are free to about $30.oo per night. Most have 24 hr security. Many have full hock ups. Nothing like free meals at the casino even if you do not gamble.
Get the book. We keep a copy in the Rv.

My wife and I stayed at NYNY in Vegas a while back. She flew down and I was in the middle of a desert road trip with Frito. They have over height, underground parking and I slept in there for two nights, in full view of security. Nobody cared. :idunno:

We recently stayed at the Horseshoe Casino RV park in Council Bluffs, IA and was pleasantly surprised. There were more RVs there than we expected, nearly full. At the back of one parking lot they have nice electric and water services for RV camping and a dump station. They had security that monitored the area and we had no issues having our slide out. We stayed 2 nights and has a great time gambling and dining at their 2 restaurants, plus lots of shopping and dining within walking distance. They had a huge antique car show the weekend we were there. We grabbed a cab at the casino and went to the fabulous Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, so getting around to explore Omaha was easy and relatively inexpensive as compared to the headache of renting a car.

in my experiences in different States, most Casinos with free RV parking ask you to check in with Security and let them know how long you plan to stay… it’s always nice to patronize them whether gambling or dining…
I’ve never had a problem in LV with my Sprinter or truck, have even left my Sprinter in long term parking at the airport there for 4 days while I made a quick trip and it was just fine when I returned…
I have stayed in the Circus Circus RV lot… it was actually fairly full, the bathroom/showers were nowhere near clean and neat and the laundry room was a disaster as well as most machines being out of order…
overall, “Casinodocking” is a nice option when available and you want to stay in closer to things instead of driving in the dark trying to find where you boondocked and hoping no one has taken your spot while you were gone…

Circus Circus RV lot, the best $12 accommodation in Vegas and my only paid site for many years on the road, is now gone. Overrun by casino expansion and capitalist greed. :).

Agreed, the cleaning staff were lax, but the security staff weren’t and the pool was usable despite the hordes of kids.

Hi, they're still booking spaces, but it's a lot more than $12 now

Wow! I had no idea. The last time I was there it had shrunk to half the size and the front desk said it would be gone in a year.
$29 a night for dry camping back then, nearly the same as a room in the hotel. I bid it farewell. Many a good stay there, despite night time helicopters, nearby I-15 traffic, all-night trains and sirens.

So, even if it’s still open, it’s dead to me. : )

Beware that lot changed in Las Vegas and I assume at other casinos as well.
There is only few places on the Strip where you can park car without paying up to $12 for the evening. Years ago some casino parking had designated areas for RV, that I don't see anymore. No longer interested though, so don't take my observations directly.
Circus Circus RV park was just parking lot with hookups and it is not the best location. If you have a toad, Oasis RV park has good reviews.
Than additional hr drive puts you in Pahrump, who has luxury RV parks for good prices.
Before Covid, Prim casinos did allow free RV parking, but don't know how that changed.
Also bear in mind that Las Vegas has only few days a year when you can survive without AC.
