Nav Display too bright???

'15 TB where our Sprinter Nav console was set to bright the entire time we drove it over the last 4 years.

We seldom drove it in the dark, and when we did, I manually changed the brightness to dark mode.

Please note that the turning on and off of the main headlights did not affect the above.

A couple of weeks ago, we had our right airbag replaced at the dealer.

Now, when we turn on the main headlights, the Nav display darkens. Even in the daylight.

Auto mode does the same thing.

Is there a way to "reset" the display function for this?

Also, where is the "sensor" located.

Any thoughts?

I really appreciate it.

Default Re: Becker Map Pilot (Audio 15) brightness
Actually had the same problem on my 2105 Unity TB with the Becker headset. Another posting string discussed the issue, and one of the contributors provided the solution: push the plus button stem on the speedo/tach console. This changes the brightness to high while the lights are on. No other way to keep it that way, read the manual and tried all the setting I could find.

Hope this helps other folks.

PS, this probably happened when we (I) reset the trip mode...:)
