Gray Westy with a silver top
91257 miles
$59500
Located in Seattle

This has to be the rarest original color on a NAFTA Westy. I believe that Airstream painted the tops on the gray vans stateside, but some were sold without a repaint. If anyone wants to see more pictures of this unique color combo, the van for sale is probably the one on the Instagram account below (same WA plate).

2005 Sprinter Airstream Westfalia Diesel Camper Van - Excellent condition.

The van runs like a champ and has been meticulously cared for inside and out. The previous owner kept detailed records of the work done on the van and we've done the same. We've also made a number of great modifications to improve the comfort and livability on board.

Upgrades:

Bed - now has a custom, 2.5 inch memory foam topper. Turns the sleeping experience from nice to OUTSTANDING. I have a bad back so this was a must but my wife swears by it. She wouldn't want to sleep in it for more than 2 nights at a time until we added this and now we could go for weeks.
Blackout separator curtain - easily tucked away or pulled out when desired, it's the perfect way to make your van look like a normal cargo van instead of a camper. Great for sleeping over in places you may otherwise be asked to leave, tricking would be robbers.
Sound System - Awesome Pioneer DEH-80PRS, MP3/CD/Bluetooth/USB stereo deck with top of the line Hertz front and rear speakers. Sound quality is superb, especially considering the van only has prefab space for 3 inch speakers.
FANTASTIC (brand) fan - a $300 upgrade (without install) worth even more. Lowers the temp in the van on hot days by a solid 10 degrees, allowing us to forgo using the A/C / generator.
A/C - when we bought the van the A/C didn't work. We imported a compressor and got everything working again. We rarely used it but it's nice to have.
Backup / Rear Camera - Great upgrade that makes backing up and parallel parking SO much easier. I never have to get out of the van any longer to see how much space I have.
Water pump - recently replaced the old one to boost the water pressure. I even have a backup.
Windshield - Literally brand new.
Rear / Outdoor shower - didn't work when we bought the van. Now it does. Excellent for outdoorsy stuff bc you can hose off before getting in the van.
Seat Heater / Massage chair - Wired a portable chair heater and massager into the driver's side. The cords are completely hidden and run to the cigarette lighter. Easy to remove and wash and makes those long drives far more enjoyable.
Black and Grey water tank gauges - the factory gauges didn't work when we bought the van so we bought a new one and it's great. Rather than the vague 33% / 66% / full readings the stock gauge gives you, your new gauges are to the 5%. It can easily be extended to measure the propane and fresh water tanks as well if you ever wanted to.
Interior Lighting - Installed LED lighting throughout to save significant cabin battery life. Remote controlled with dozens of color settings to choose from.
Underneath lighting - Installed LED lighting underneath the chassis to make it much easier to see the van at night when camping. Remote controlled with dozens of color settings to choose from.
Skylight - the skylight was very finicky when we bought the van. We now have an additional factory remote as well as an after market remote. Skylight works like a charm now.
Dodge > Mercedes - The 250 sprinter westfalias were imported by Dodge, and thus, all the Mercedes markings were removed and Dodges symbols were put in their place. All the dodge markings have been swapped out with the proper Mercedes parts again so the grill, hubcaps and steering wheel all have the proper Mercedes logos on them again.
Decal Removal - all the tacky looking decals that make these look like whoopie wagons have been removed, leaving only the Westfalia and Mercedes decals remaining, meaning your van won't look like a shuttle for an old folks home, but like the bad ass van that it is.

Most importantly, the engine is in pristine condition. The previous owner put $5k worth of engine maintenance work into it right before we bought it and we've only put 15k miles on it.

The only known issues with the van are a small scratch/dent on the front left bumper. It was nicked one day in a parking stall. We've had it pulled out and buffed. There are also two little dash covers that are removable so you can add new switches to the dash. I took two out to add a USB charger and lost them. Easily replaced. There is also a very faint red stain, about 1.5 inches in diameter, on the rear seat. These engines can run for +500k miles so you should have tons of life left for decades to come.

Overall we've made tremendous upgrades to the van, took excellent care of it and now he needs a new home.

$59.5k or best offer

I have a google drive folder with service records and more pictures I will share with serious buyers.
