2004 key

My 2004 Dodge sprinter came with one key. that is not in great shape.
Initially i thought I could just get a new one cut at Home Depot but I am now realizing there may be a chip in the key.
Anyone know the best place to get a another key at non Mercedes prices.

Thanks
Phill

I'm in the same situation.

Do a search on 'key cloning', you will find many solutions offered by form members and professional locksmiths.
You will be able to pick your poison.

Followed this method. Ordered the zed-bull, took a few weeks to arrive. Got some blanks from ebay. Got cut by a local locksmith, went to a hardware store first but they did not cut customer supplied blanks. Would recommend going straight to a locksmith for cutting. All in all got 2 standard keys made for around $70 with the ability to clone more.
