Default Need Sprinter Mechanic near Pensacola FL Code P1470-4

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a Sprinter mechanic near Pensacola, FL? I'm on a cross-country trip headed northwest.

My 2003 T1N goes into LHM, showing code P1470-4 "Charge pressure control valve - Cable has short circuit to positive."

Thank you,
Jerry S

Answer is very simple, replace your Boost actuator vacuum solenoid!

Read my very recent write up here for a way to double check.

You only need to remove the right hand headlight to replace the valve, do not remove the air filter!

Keith.

PS My failure turned out to be damp in the valve so try warming the valve up and then spraying with damp proofer to keep you going.

Jerry,

Have you sorted your LHM?

You never came back to this thread so wondering what happened?

Keith.
