Cool trip. I carry a tree strap with soft shackles for pulling trees out of the road. After I nearly threw my back out moving one clear, I just tie the tree to my recovery point and let the van do the work.

A sven saw, or compact bow saw is a good idea to carry in that country though. I have had friends get blocked in by 12" diameter trees after a bit of wind came up. It may take a while by hand, but you will be able to cut your way out (if you cant pull the tree clear).

Great photos btw. We were in that area in early October, and the Weather had just started to turn. It was nice having all the high altitude free camps to ourselves, too cold for most!

Thanks, it is not apparent in the picture, but I was using one of these camp saws to cut up the trees. It does a great job. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071W8H8GN/

Thanks! Our interior layout was all based on being able to carry 4 bikes with us. Here are a couple write-ups I did regarding bike storage.

I recently added slide-out trays to carry the bikes front-to-back so they take up a little less space. Not 100% complete, but progress pics are below...
