Moving forward with electrical, got the inverter remote panel and the battery monitor landed.
This brings up a question about the victron 3000 inverter case ground.
Victron says to take it to the chassis.
With that said, I also installed a Sterling 60 amp battery to battery charger.
The sterling instructions call for a #4 ground lead from the van battery to the house batteries.
This means my negative bus has continuity with the chassis.
So, the question is, is there a reason I should not take the inverter ground to the negative bus.
Thanks

I hope somebody will provide a detailed answer to your question Royce. I am trying to finalize my fairly complex, 48vdc Victron install with solar and alternator charging of four Tesla modules. Grounding the inverter to the chassis has to be an issue with the shunt and the Battery Monitor. I also have another shunt inline with the auxiliary alternator for its programmable regulator. These shunts cannot possibly function if we ground the major components to the chassis. ??
