I removed the 70's looking mirror panel that was on the paneling behind the stove,....I want to remove the vertical panel joint cover that hides the vertical panel joint to the right of the stove and sink area so that I can install a stick on subway tile backsplash on the entire wall panel over to the end of the counter space.

Thinking I probably have to remove or at least move the panel a bit to get that vertical panel joint cover out of the gap between the two panels,.....uncharted territory for me,...

Anyone been there,....done that?

I had the exact same dilema on a previous RV, and I ended up just using a razor knife and cutting the plastic seam connector so it was flush and left the back portion of it in place, behind the panels. It worked fine.
