Sprinter (or other) rental in South Africa??

OK... we've booked the flight... into Cape Town and out of Jo'burg

Now we're seeking to rent a Sprinter (or similar, or smaller beastie) for the two of us to drive around and sleep in for the month of September.

Up the west coast to Namaqua, then back down, along the southern coast to Port Elizabeth, then up and around (clockwise)(not in) Lesotho to poke our noses in the Drakensberg, then stagger into Johannesburg to depart.

There are only a couple of spots that are 4x4 mandatory... we may have to skip those.
But the rental should be allowed on "good gravel" roads, not restricted to tar/bitumen.

Any recommendations, hints, suggestions, Must Sees! and Must Avoids! appreciated ...

thanks

My apologies for failing to follow up on that 2013 request (altho i may have had another thread).
We ended up renting a VW Kombi (the "VW Bus" to US folks) from Lekker Camper: http://www.lekkercamper.co.za/
Their service was excellent (the VW did have a couple of hiccups due to its age, but we expected that)

We spent about a month driving around South Africa, although there were many places we didn't get to, due to the limited time. Timing of trip was to coordinate with access to Namaqualand.
