So this has been a long overdue project, but I finally got around to repairing a short in my wiring harness. I've had code P2195-2 for quite a while, however other than a few random LHM and recycling the engine on and off, it hasn't affected much. I knew it was in the harness after replacing the o2 sensor sensor three times, so I went to work with the multimeter.
I started by following these directions, parts A-D only, and found that pin 6 was not reading.

Pin 6 is the O2 Sensor Cell Signal, and attaches to ECM cavity 39
I found the broken wire relatively close to the firewall, where the harness sits behind the battery tray (going to readjust so it is not wedged or crimped when reinstalling.) and did a simple continuity test on both sides of the wire. Both came back with a "beep" so my assumption is this is my only culprit.
More of an informative post, but is that a fair assumption? I've got almost the whole wiring harness removed/detached so I want to make sure this is it before reinstalling and testing. My scanner is in the mail and will be here tomorrow, but even still I'm not sure the code will show up with a key cycle vs the engine actually running.
Edit. I know I only did parts A-D, but it sounds like going through parts E and further it would be working at the ends of the harness, so therefore reinstalling the harness and connectors wouldn't matter if the issue persists.
