Bill, this is the all systems that I bought -

https://www.amazon.com/Autel-MD802-Maxidiag-Diagnoses-Transmission/dp/B0090B7M2O

The ODB connector is behind the curved panel near your left foot. There is a small quarter turn fastener nearest you on the curved panel and then the OBD plug has a flip cap on it.
Thanks for the advice and the link.

I found the ODB connector.
Also found that the computer is loose laying in the shelf behind the dash. Looks like another thing to straighten out.

I'm learning.

Wow! I assume you mean that the ECU is not connected to the wiring harness and is located inside the vehicle? This sounds like a real project vehicle. I wonder why the previous owner decided to remove it.

Once you get stuff back together and identify problems recommend you start a new thread(s) outside of the MD802 area to get more eyes on your concerns.

I will order the MD802 all systems.
Saw this one on Ebay.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Autel-Maxi...174259&hash=item1c7f8d9542:g:dFsAAOSw~4NZtP80

Is this the correct model?.......................

bill
As, mentioned prior, that is not the ALL SYSTEM model.

May also want to look for the MD802 ALL SYSTEM model on Auction instead of BIN and save the money for using on approved fluids and quality parts.

Picked mine up for $135.00 shipped using an eBay auction sniping tool Auction Magic that I've used for many years that comes highly recommended.

*Recommend if you don't already have one, is to download manual in my signature.

Are these Autel scanners the same?
And what I need for my '02 Freightliner T1N?

I'm ready to buy.

Hi Bill,

If you read the small print details the eBay model states "Supporting: 4 system"

The correct one is "All Systems"

*Remember if you purchase through Amazon to go there through the Sprinter Forum

Build Planning
Can the MD802 handle (or does it need to handle) recalibration of lane departure and rain sensors when replacing a windshield? Or do I really need to pay the dealership to do this?
NVM - TIL the 'recalibrate the sensors' stuff is just windshield replacement companies trying to cover their ass and shift blame of ****ty job to electronics. Called dealership and asked about it and they said the sensors were plug and play and then kept calling until I got a glass shop that said it's the install if something goes wrong. Going with them - United Auto Glass out of Mission Viejo for SoCal peeps.

I have the 805 "all systems" and am trying to troubleshoot my '06 T1N. Selecting live data I see the rear wheel speeds, which were surprisingly stable and almost identical left to right, but don't see any readout for front wheel speeds. I'm using the Euro/Sprinter specific selection on the tool. Can someone with a T1N tell me which menu will get the most/best results?

What menu did u find the rear wheel speeds? If it was in the transmission menu as I suspect, look elsewhere. I think the stability control menu has all 4 wheels. Can’t remember right now, just keep.clicking til u find it.
Oops « 805  all systems «  what is that?

I’m ready to purchase an Autel MD802 but there are so many different models and the sellers are not always clear when describing their products. I don’t want to make an expensive mistake. Are the items below the same? Is “all system” and “full system” the same thing? I need a unit that will allow me to pull MB proprietary codes ( like p1470-016, p2007-001) from my 2003 Sprinter?

If anyone has a link to a different seller, please let me know. Also, many of the Ebay sellers allow for a “Make Offer”. Has anyone been successful buying an Autel using this method?

I purchased mine through eBay UK and made an offer of approx 10% below the Buy it Now and it was accepted. The seller was obd_expert11 and the item was already in the UK waiting shipping.

PS The item you linked on eBay is the All System.

Here ya go ddev, looks like one you listed is no longer available. I'm sure there are other sellers and this one will also explain the differences etc. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Autel-Maxi...e-Scanner-ABS-SRS-Engine-DPF-BMS/222793634220 I bought mine via auction using sniping tool.

DesertAdventures thanks for the info. Your link above looks like a newer listing from one of the sellers I found in my original post. Your listing looks current. Is this item the correct all system unit and OK to buy?
Thanks

Don't remember which menu I used, will try the stability one, thanks. The 805 is the same as 802 except for the memory card type according to Ebay seller (tf vs. sd card)

Yes, unless by chance seller sends you the 4 system. If that's the case, eBay has you covered.

Just received a MD802 from an Ebay seller. Advertised as "All Systems",previously owned but not used. Appearance is "like" new. How can I tell if it is the All Systems model vs the 4 system model. No where does it say it is a MD802. It has MaxiDiag Elite on the screen when it powers up. The Manual is no help. Is there a screen that is different depending on which model? If it's the 4 system model obviously I would like to return it for a refund. Did a seasrch on Autel's site but it is severely lacking in info.
Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Connect the MD802 to your van. Select 'Scan'. Select either European or USA.

If European, then Sprinter: Transporter or V-Class, then Sprinter. Choose your model (901.6 thru 905.6 in your case, IIRC) & Autoscan.

If USA, then Chrysler: Start New Session & Autoscan.

Once the Autoscan is complete you should see more than 4 systems in the list of modules for the MD802 All System version. The number of systems will depend on your van specifics.

I believe the above steps to be complete, but there may be one or more steps missing. In summary the Autoscan will 'tell' you whether you have the 4-system or All system version of MD802.

Don't forget to update the SD card with the latest vehicle downloads from the Autel site.

bcislander, many thanks . Once I turned the key to "on", The "Sprinter" main selection finally got me there. Only thing you left out was the OBD2 or 14 pin selection which even I new to take the OBD2 selection. Came up with 7 systems, Common rail, KH instrument cluster, WSP immobilizer, air bags, EGS trans control, HZR heat control, and ZV central locking. All the systems either had a fault code or passed for pass/fail modules (2 or 3 modules) I have a spare SD card. Will copy original to it and use it to upgrade per recommendation of this thread. Seems I have to look at the mileage to determine current stored faults from older faults. And computer seems to think it has about 37,000 more miles on it than it actually has!

Now hopefully it will help me fix my problem, multiple indicator lights, in a week old thread.

Again many thanks and open to any tips ref using the MD802.
