Plan on camping overnight at the dealers or nearby. That way you can check out and begin to get comfortable with the new rig. The dealer should go over everything with you, but don't expect to remember it all! Get the name and phone number of the employee that goes over everything with you so you can call to answer questions (and you will have some) once you start down the road.
We planned a two week trip to shake down the rig and get comfortable. It was our second rig, so we weren't new to RVing, and I am still learning new things. The forums have a wealth of knowledge and lots of folks who are more than happy to offer their opinion and advice! You will find the Unity forum to be much more active than the Serenity forum, so I spend more time there.
Good luck and happy camping! Welcome to the LTV RVing family!
