The worst is over for now. CA is putting $6,000,000 daily into the crisis. The efforts are impressive.
There has been a bit of misinformation from news agencies, so we thought we'd have a little fun with it and make our own fake news clip. That's me in the horns...

The Orville Dam debacle. Completely Goobinor Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown's responsibility. A perfect example of liberal mismanagement. How is it the Dam was allowed to deteriorate?

Who authorized the deferred maintenance?

The entire state legislature and governor should Immediately resign!

What do you expect when we each live in a liberal ran state that is failing, just like the other 10.

One version of the story that I heard (no idea if correct) is that there was a project proposed to improve the spillway and also included slightly raising the dam to increase capacity and some other improvements.

Given the drought and the push to increase storage capacity, this made financial sense and rate payer + tax money was raised to pay for it.

Some people only wanted the spillway improvements done. The people paying the bill basically said there is no way to convince ratepayers to do that when water prices doubled due to a shortage. (such as our local water agency)
