Two stories.

A chemical plant I worked in had a motor shop with Casey repairing things. Whenever brand new equipment like electric space heaters, or such was purchased for the plant it first went to the motor repair shop for alteration. It was referred to as being Caseyized. Casey would take various color spray paints and ugly up the new equipment. They lost very few items which first went to Casey.

I read this as a true story.
A man went in to a bank and handed the teller a note.
She handed it back. It read "Bread, milk, onions, etc."
The robber quickly pushed another note across that read "Put all the cash this bag." and pulled out a gun.
The teller saw water dripping out of the barrel of the water pistol and called for security. (That wouldn't happen these days.)
The would be robber ran out the front door while sirens were heard arriving.
The police found him seated in a car and arrested him.
Turns out someone had left a car running with the keys in the ignition right in front of the bank. The robber was unsuccessfully trying to get the manual shift car into gear for his escape.
