Mod Idea: Disposable Propane Cylinders

If you don't have the generator, could possibly exist off smaller disposable propane tanks for the hot water heater and stove.

The original Westfalia James Cook had two removable propane tanks where our water heater is located.

Our existing propane tank reduces clearance (note that TNeuer replaced and relocated his propane tsnk to spare tire area for clearance). Also, can save weight.

The small disposable propane cylinders may be allowed inside the Westy (don't know).

If you only have propane for stove, here is a company which makes an adapter just for a stove. Don't know if works with our stove.but it's the idea: LP Elimination Kit by North Westy.

I'd never keep any size propane cylinder inside a camper unless it and regulator were in a sealed and externally vented compartment. The 1-lb cylinder would not last more than a couple hours running the water heater, stove a little longer.
