Went in for the notorious RSN with 1800 miles on the clock and the non english speaking "tech" told me that the transmission was computer controlled and there could be nothing wrong. Naturally when I took him for a ride I could not reproduce the shudder. I had them do an alignment, now my wheel points slightly to the right instead of markedly to the left. For a last laugh I asked about recalibrating the speedo mentioning that I thought it could be something as simple as a reflash. I was told to take my sprinter th the state troopers office to have my speedo certified. I told them I was using a Garmin Nuvi nav system for speed comparison (which oddly enough matches my 3 other cars speed almost exactly) and I was told never trust a GPS......Crossed that dealership from my list.
Ordered my tranny dipstick from the famous auction site today.
