Initially I was thinking that I was going to buy new aftermarket rims, but decided later to just keep the oem steelies.
I found on the yahoo list that you can get cheaper hubcaps from your local Mercedes-Benz dealer. So off I went to a local dealer to purchase 4 caps (p/n: B66470203) for $32. The bad thing was that they were the kind for the Sprinter oem alloys and not for the steel wheels.
So, I either had to return them and purchase the real oem steel hubcaps for $60 or find a way to use the wrong ones that I had. I did the latter after finding out that the diameter space of the Ram emblem on the Dodge hubcap was very close to the caps that I purchased.
I essentially cut out the center of the Dodge hubcap to a large enough hole so that MB cap would just slip through, but not all the way. I did most of the measuring and cutting from the backside of the hubcap. I also modified/trimmed the MB cap so that it would mate nicely to the Dodge hubcap. I epoxied the two together.
Much more work than I had expected but at least it has more coverage over the steel wheels than the oem MB hubcap that is meant for the steel wheel.
