True but this is not a MAJOR CUSTOM JOB. The storage space where they put the propane tank is and will be there whether I install a propane tank in it or a battery tray (see image below).

I think both CH and LTV have already started to work with solar so 1 or 5 panels...no big deal here.

As for the money, I don't see it as buying a car, I LITERALLY see it as buying a HOUSE and when you buy a house, you don't cut corners. If your Realtor tells you that this house has HALF a Dinette with a small table big enough to sit only 1 person on each side you will laugh and get out right... and tell your Realtor to find a better house and prepare yourself to pay more for better quality right? We'll that's how I see it with my next RV. $250K for a house is a bargain (at least where I live) so I prepare myself to pay the same for the RV of my dream. I don't think it will cost that much but it might.

I'm gonna find the best Class B+ RV and will make it better with super advanced features.

My main goal is ZERO gas thank AT ALL and that includes the diesel tank for the engine too.

Etrek has a Webasto "dual top" diesel air/water heater, also heat strip in the air conditioner.

Merlin,
I was at Coach House on Monday and spoke to Steve Gerzeny, one of the owners. I gave him a printout of your question from this thread, but I didn't pursue it further because I am not interested in eliminating the propane tank from my RV. I will tell you that his opinion of the Roadtrek eTrek is that it doesn't really work the way it's advertised. If you want to get a "propane-free" Coach House RV then I suggest you start a conversation with Steve. His contact info is on their web site (I don't want to openly publish someone else's email on this forum). He would be the best one to talk to regarding customization of their RVs.
Coach House will do SOME customizing, but I got the impression that they were more concerned about staying within the guidelines set by Mercedes and the RVIA. Probably rightfully so.

Which one you are going with again? 240? 241?

My wife & I weighed the pros & cons and decided on the 240. Coach House was a bit surprised at our choice because almost all of the Sprinter RVs they build are 241s.

What were the +s of the 240 that made you select it over the 241?
