We also supply inside framing since the skylights rely on a clamping system to seal. We suggest Manus butyl tape and 3M 4412 for leak proofing the flange

Is the adapter machined to create a planar surface or is the purpose solely to address the issue of the ribs in the sheet metal (which would mean maintaining the original curvature of the roof)?

The patent pending adapter is surface milled (derived from OEM surface data) to fit the exact contour of the roof and ribs so that the flange of the skylight mates to a flat level surface.

Would installing two mini heki be an option?

Both could then face the correct way and avoid the wind issue that hein raised (which I hadn't thought about but which makes sense to me)
