America and England are the only two countries in the world, that are separated by a common language.

America ≠ Americas.

Americas

The Americas (also collectively called America; French: Amérique, Dutch: Amerika, Spanish and Portuguese: América) comprise the totality of the continents of North and South America.[5][6][7] Together, they make up most of the land in Earth's western hemisphere and comprise the New World.

Americans, that is citizens of the United States speak English.
No doubt about that and do NOT let any Brit tell you otherwise!
Like most languages its a living communication that changes and develops over time.

At the time of the American Colonies the common English pronunciation was largely that of how people in the West of England speak English today. I my self speak with a West country dialect.

Only the ruling classes developed the OxBridge twaddle after the revolution which is often heard in high places even today.

You can hear the distinctive dialect of the Equerry giving Mr John Adams instructions on how to address HM King George 3rd who was Hanoverian and spoke both English and German.
Note the extended "mah" "Lah" & loh wer Sir slurred pronunciation.
A brilliant re-enactment.
His Royal accent would have been quite different to that of today in the HM Queen's royal household.

On a slight deviation remember the American Colonies were inhabited by Englishmen who were denied their rights as Englishman to petition their Representatives in Parliament.
So they became American citizens by armed conflict with those that denied their rights as Englishmen. Bravo for that !
Enjoy the clip:-
Its brilliant and listen to the West Country dialect now spoken similarly in rural Maine & Vermont.

What brand was the paint? I would like to find a place a little closer maybe over the border from El Paso or in El Paso. I don't need a whole paint job just the front clip and front section of high roof and of course the new passenger door that I plan to get when I find one. I'll need also the lower half of the sprinter painted on Passenger side once rust is fixed. I also have rust issues in rear, the step bumper cover comes out of the holes and you have to push it back in sometimes.

The best paint is Dupont Imron for commercial vehicles.
There are two types, the best is Acrylic Polyurethane base stuff!
