We are planning on buying a 24 foot motor home. We are wondering about a Citation 24 SR. If you might own one and care to share your likes or dislikes. We like the idea of the two slides. We are hoping to find a 2014 with low kilometres Are there certain years to stay away from. We are new to forum. Thank you. Johnboy

John, don't have a Citation 24sr. Do have View Profile which has a similar dual slide arrangement and floor plan. Does not have cab over bunk. You will like the sliding queen as you can get in and out without disturbing your mate...and it is semi-walk around. Also, the push out gives more room in the "day room." You will like that! Couple things to consider.... The galley is right inside the door and there's no counter space...which is kind of handy for workspace or setting "stuff." The 36" TV on the Citation is on the wall next to the setter. That may be hard to view when sitting on the sofa. Although its great if the driver and passenger seats spin around to face the lounge. You may want to check the ease of access to the cab with the over cab head board in place....especially if you have it set up and want to use the lounge.

My suggestion is to look at a couple floor plans and "block out" (like a stage play) how you would use it and live in it. See it the layout works for your lifestyle.

We had a '10 Thor Four Winds Ventura class B for three years. On the whole it was pretty well assembled and quality parts and bits. That said... Thor appears to have QA/QC issues and some of their product have many issues in abundance. Like buying a horse...ride it...check every thing to see that it works....have it vetted....

Hi. The View Profile looks very nice. Hard to find used ones at good price. The new ones are so expensive because of the week Canadian dollar it is the same on all brands. Does the sliding Queen have a mattress that is split in two. Where the top half moves to slide on top of the bottom piece when you close the slide? Can you leave the bedding on when you close that slide ? The View is very nice and has better set up to view TV. I guess it will have to come down to budget when all is said and done. thank you again for your comments. Johnboy

bought one two months ago and so far so good. Great layout. The onan lp generator is louder than I would like and will likely eventually turn that into a battery bank for sole panels. Plenty of storage, love the way the bathroom doors open for a privacy area. Have the sleeper couch instead of a dinette. The air mattress is cumbersome and makes it difficult to walk by but we don't plan on to many sleepover. It has four seat belts and sleep five, go figure. There are some tweaks I'll do but all in all a great two person RV. Planning on towing and with the extra storage in the toad should be good for weeks on the road. Good luck.

one thing, I wish the axxera din radio was more robust and the 3500 had a TPMS installed rather than using a after market.
