Default Sprinter-Source appreciation thread.

ive only been here a short while but in that time ive learned a lot and compared to other similar sites in layout and function and also members this is the sprinter site with very helpful members will post their information/ pictures /failures and triumphs for everybody to learn from, we have tradesmen engineers mechanics paintshop bodyshop experts john doe Josephine doe and some clowns to lighten and add colour and enough information stored on this site to keep anybody busy for ages.
so show your appreciation and give thanks to seek and the people in the background that keep this site as good as it is.

Funny that I wasn't the only one who voted, "This poll is crap!"

Actually, I appreciate the detractors of this site. Without them my life would just be reading about Sprinters and working on my own brake controller for my T1N.

Max has expressed the feelings of many of us who are regular visitors to this site. Being able to pick the brains of forum members and read of their experiences just makes the whole experience of owning a Sprinter more enjoyable. What I've learned from this forum has allowed me to save money on maintenance and understand my vehicle well enough that I don't feel like I'm at the mercy of the dealerships.

Well done Sprinter-Source.com!
Well said Max!

Great idea for you to have started this thread Max. Generally I think polls are pretty lame, but I just couldn't go that way on my vote.

For me this forum makes owning a Sprinter with 190,000+ miles possible to own without breaking the bank. There's so much great info and good people too.

My thanks to Sikwan and Altered Sprinter for moderating. From what I gather Sikwan deserves a special thanks for getting this started? Are there any other mods anyway? This might be a good place to recognize them.

This is not to slight my other addiction the Yahoo Sprintervan forum. There's some nice cross fertilization going both ways.

All that said, for some reason I can't get beyond associating Max with his requested smilie

Cheers. AP/vic

Zach Woods would be one that added a lot of content to the RV section early on in the Forum. Then there's Jon (jdcaples) that added a lot to the NCV3 section.

Too many to mention...even Aqua Puttana added a lot of worthy information in the database section, especially the list of P-codes that are now searchable.

Absent this forum, I'd never have bought a Sprinter.
