Cool trip. Its always nice to see a recumbent bicycle. You must not enjoy torturing yourself like all the upright road bikers.

We did try the green mussels in a few different forms. Must be an acquired taste I think.

while i'd looked in on this one earlier in your voyage, Mwd - am simply going to have to read the entire thing now!

while 'out there' i'd always hoped to get down to NZ (for the skiing ;) but only ever made it as far as fiji (to put an a/c chiller system on a diveboat)
