Default Outback adventuring.......again, this time with a twist.

Outback adventuring.......again, this time with a twist.

One of our group of 3 had a mishap, the leaf spring on their camper broke and rendered the camper un-towable.
The camper was left in the outback, it will probably be still there for ages.

No one was hurt which was good so we will regroup and head out later on maybe in autumn.

The road.

Queensland/New South Wales border.

Campers final resting place.

They hadn't had rain out there for many years before we went, they apparently had good soaking rain last week so the country should pick up.

Is it likely to survive unmolested? I think if something like that was found by authorities on one of our government lands they would tow it out and send you a bill.

Thanks for the pics.

Its all private property out there.

It would in all likelihood be stripped for the few parts that were left on it.
Some more pics.

Yours truly.....
