Advanced RV lifts 2WD 3.5" same as 4x4

Another Innovation from Advanced RV. They lift a 2WD Sprinter the same as a 4x4’s 3-1/2” without the cost of a 4x4 drive. They are using all Mercedes Benz parts. If you don’t need 4x4 you get the clearance benefits, save 300 lbs. and get the fuel efficiency of a 2WD. I don't need 4x4 but could use the lift.

Explain please..... how does 'lifting' reduce the weight by 300#. An inquiring Crow wants to know.... (ouuu… that rhymes...) Sorry.

If your 2x2 weighs xxxxx lbs and you add the gear to lift it. It's going to weigh xxxxx lbs PLUS the weight of the add on lift gear. It doesn't suddenly 'loose' 300#.....

The oblique reference is to the weight difference between a 2 by and a 4 by. That makes sense. But your 2 by is going to still increase in weight due to the add on stuff.

Same lift as a 4x4 but 300 lbs. lighter than a 4x4.

I wonder if I can lower my 4x4? It seems a lot higher than I'll ever need.
