Default Airbag error message after disconnecting the seat cable

I made a boo boo while installing my espar D2. I forgot to unplug the battery ... Anyone knows what's the deal with this? Do I have to go to a dealer or any shop can reset this ?

You can clear the warning with a suitable scanner unit.

Well we use a factory style scanner-BUT we also have several Snap On Verus, Zeus, or Solus Pro's with 18,2 18,3 program updates, they will also do it.

Snap On scan tools are the general choice of Independent shops who do general repairs on domestic & imports.

I've used the VAG tool for my previous Audi. Is there a recommendation for a basic one that would just reset one code at a time?

Search my started threads about the Autel scanner I have, it clears this code.

Thanks guys. I drove yesterday to the dealer. It was $38.00 job. They reset it and it was done.
I looked into buying Autel but seemed expensive and wasn't guaranteed it would work on teh 2019.

Sweet. I'll buy one to reset my airbag sensor. Can you tell me if any scanners will read the alarm system. I am getting a lot of false alarms. Either interior motion sensor OR the Towing alarm disable. I cannot tell which one is being triggered. I have tried....one at at time. Both at a time. none etc. if it ever shows through ECU since that is tied to MBUX screen.

Have you done this on a 2019 van? I have this icarsoft mbII and it worked on my old 2007 sprinter but will not connect at all to my 2019.
