Console cleaning

I spilled some Coke into the irksome Sprinter console's cup holders. I had to tear it apart to clean it. There are two screws located under the mat at the bottom of the cup holders. Take them out, flip up and pull out the top part of the console. What a lot of parts for this ill-designed, mis-located, space wasting item! Inside the console you can see the hose feeding the AC to the floor area.

I found experimenting while driving:
Best location above standart-radio.
I did used qwik-made-addjust plate. Looks like dogs or cats drinking plate.
Now I am in a process of making some shapie cup holder with a poket-cradle for cell-phone. Will place it (cup-holder) above standart-radio.

At least you can actually remove the cup holder, even though it is too small for larger cups/bottles and cans.

Try cleaning spillage on the NCV3 cup holder above the speedometer. Impossible.

I will never put anything in there except for glasses an other utensils. Instead use the one on the center console or in the door pocket.


I kind of liked the cup holder in the T1N.
