We are seriously considering downsizing from a 5th wheel to a Sprinter-based motorhome and I'm curious as to why there is so much more activity in the Winnabego /Navion group than there is for the Thor version?
The model we are looking at is the new Thor Synergy TT24 and it looks to be very similar to the Sprinter Citation, with a few subtle differences. We are at least three hours away from the nearest Thor dealer so the majority of my info comes from online research.
Can anyone give me the low-down on the Thor product and how it compares to the Winnabego 24V equivalent?
Are there any things that we should be on the look out for when shopping either brand?
The Thor Synergy TT24 appears to have: 1) a smaller shower, 2) shorter beds, 3) smaller main room TV, and 4) smaller grey/black holding tanks, but are these really drawbacks or just things to get used to?
Is there any significant difference in the overall build quality between the two brands?
Is the Thor TPO roof inferior to a one piece fiberglass roof or similar in quality and longevity?
I really appreciate any responses as we are getting close to a decision.
