We had it done at DGC Automotive in Medford, MA. They have done a lot of work for us, and have repaired other Sprinters and vans. 5 star reviews on Yelp, which is amazing given how people are these days.

However you’d literally be driving past 100 shops to get there. I’d think there have to be some good shops in Nashua, for example. But these guys did a great job welding in all the repair panels.

In the “Small World” Department, I lived in Amherst in the late 70’s, when ai worked at Nashua Corp.

Gotta start ordering the other materials: should pick it up Thursday from the body shop, though it still has some mechanical maintenance due.

DGC did a great job, and found some areas that would have been problems later. They had another Sprinter for work while mine was there.

The under hood insulation seems to be sagging. I assume that is not the correct shape.

1. Part still available?

2. Will standard Butyl rubber / aluminum foil covered sound deadening hold up if applied under the hood.

Installing L track. Put this tape behind it to help minimize the thermal bridging from outside.
