Espar D2 EasyStart Select won’t display internal temp even after bridging connections

Hello - I’ve installed my Espar D2 heater and it works... thank god! Now I’m trying to get it to read from the internal sensor without success. I’ve bridged the red/gray and brown/white wires as instructions say to do, but this hasn’t fixed it - the EasyStart still reads ‘- - -‘. And I don’t see any fault codes, either. Any suggestions for next diagnostic steps to take?

I'll second the suggestion to reboot the EasyStart. Also, confirm that you have just the three wires (red, brown, blue/white) connected on the ES?

I have a little graphical representation of the wiring that I put together on my blog, description here:

or direct link here: http://www.pointsunknown.com/blog/w..._Espar-_D2_EasyStart_Altitude_Temp_Wiring.pdf

This shows the wiring with the EasyStart Timer, altitude sensor and external temperature sensor, but it's the same with the EasyStart Select or if you don't have the altitude sensor or temp sensor.

Hope it's a quick an easy fix!
