Big difference between the 9.9/15 and the smaller engines is that the smaller engines are singles. The 9.9, 15 and 20 are 333cc twins. The 4,5,6 are 123cc singles. Twins are much smoother.

Our 2.5 four stroke is a Suzuki, because we found a bollard pull test where the Suzuki pulled harder than the Honda, Tohatsu or Yamaha..

We currently own the 2.5 Suzuki, 6hp Tohatsu, 9.9hp Tohatsu 2 stroke, 15hp Evinrude two stroke, and the 150 Yamaha on our RibCraft 6.5.
