I have been trying for a low roof 4x4 (I have my reasons) for over a year. I was told a variety of excuses from half a dozen dealers why none were available. Then in late November I was told there was some 2019 slots open for custom builds but.... only in white, black or silver. There really must have been some teething problems in Charleston because those builds were still coming from Germany.
Then, last week the clouds parted and my order was accepted on a custom 2020 build, all the bells and whistles, scheduled for late February; and in the color I wanted.
Just wondering how many other 2020 4x4s are in the hopper; and hoping that QC and production issues have been sorted out.
