Default 1st trip starting in Yosemite

My sprinter build out will be done end of Jan and I will be driving home from Fresno through Yosemite to San Diego. Any recommendations for good hook up sites in Yosemite and then traveling south? Thanks!

The rangers in Yosemite are sticklers for chains. Don’t go there in winter without them or you may find yourself being turned away. FYI, the CA chain requirements differ based on weight, do your homework first. Suggest you pick up a set of cable chains and go enjoy the park.

Definitely in the chains; I got these while on the road there, and I was really happy with them. The self adjusting part was super nice, easy to install with cold fingers...

And the Mariposa Grove is open again; it was closed for restoration last time.

Food at the lodges was great; nice to enjoy chili and a beer after a day hike, and I got free showers at the campground when I brought my own towel and soap.
