Default Oil pressure specifications OM642

Does anyone have or know what the oil pressures are at various RPMs for the OM642? I'm looking for what the pressures are at 1500, 2000 and 2500 mark.

Why do I want to know this? That's a great question, thanks for asking. I'm working on plumbing up a bypass centrifuge oil filter into a GL and trying to decide if I should use one of the galley ports on the engine or plumb in an electric pump to feed the centrifuge.

Any help on the pressures is much appreciated.

Being that there is no OEM oil pressure monitoring at all, you may find the response to your questions limited.

There have been quite a few discussions about engine oil pressure in the Aussie section. Those discussions may not be specific to the OM642 engine. Try an advance search using the Aussie section for the specified section.

I'm hoping one of the guys who has installed an oil pressure gauge can give some input. In the meantime I'll go for a look about down under. Suddenly I want BBQ shrimp...weird.
