Programming/Diagnostic Equipment

Does anyone have recommendations on a good vendor to purchase Diagnostic/Programming Equipment on 2010-2017 Sprinters? I have a fleet of ambulances in TN, IL, MS & TX. Have been making minor repairs as we can utilizing Matco & Snap-On Equipment but I am looking to get Sprinter Manufacturer equipment so we can do more in-house repairs. These repair bills are very expensive and I want to keep my technicians gainfully employed and continue to keep our ambulances response ready. Thank You

Yes, top of da line is Mercedes Benz Xentry. Factory models begin at $40,000 depending on options, tax, shipping, custom fees not included. Sounds expensive but will surly pay for itself.

I believe the annual $3000 subscription is mandatory but not certain. The subscription provides access tech-support, software calibration Numbers and firmware revisions. I believe the Xentry's software is updated monthly via web. Another extremely important feature, among many others, is the ability to reset the Adblue countdown start message and adapt DPF's.

Another excellent source of information as CVtechinfo providing monthly Webcast featuring, DTC of the month and other continuing issues reported by dealership service departments.

You can (or at least, have been able to in the past) been able to buy "Chinese Clones" of the Xentry system (and the earlier C4 system) for far far less. But: the license the C4 was running under was as if you were a workstation at the Chinese license holder's shop.
The database (VIN to part numbers and procedures) may be a year out-of-date.

Acceptable for a hobbyist approach, not necessarily for a Pro shop.
