I got the impression that this manual actually instructs on how to conduct repairs as opposed to the reference manual which, not having gone through it all, just "references".
LOL... I’d never thought of it that way, but not that you mention it the Service Manual does tend to send you flipping back to the index for details of many of the preparation/cleanup steps (Refer to 23 - BODY/DOORS - REAR/TRIM PANEL - INSTALLATION)
In my prior life I worked reading/writing software and engineering spec’s and standards, so this sort of thing now washes right over me, but some would certainly find it infuriating: “Why?! Why not just print those instructions again Right HERE!?!!” (and they’d be right, too... there’s no good reason not to at least have a hyperlink in the PDF point to the referenced section, especially within the electrical drawings!) But for the price (Still free!
) I don’t mind the scrolling.
