Anyone tried to install a 2019 VS30 3 Person bench seat into a 2017 Crew van using the older style Seat brackets? I know the bolt pattern and the overall length is different w/ 2 vs 3 bolts but I'm curious if the actual tabs/hooks work in the older bracket bars

It will not work. They are different.

my solution is steel plates (painted 3x for rust protection) with high strength bolts. The left side goes right through the frame so its super solid. The right side comes through the floor in an unreinforced section. I used long steel plates to spread the load out over the lip of the solid frame member and back over 1 foot. its overkill compared to what the professional up fitters install. You have to be SUPER SUPER careful with the left side when you drill through as you could accidentally drill into the gas tank. i had a backup steel plate between my drill and the gas tank and someone below watching. I moved my 2 person bench back ~6" from the factory location for more legroom.
