Installing $349 Walmart Recliner Loveseat in 2011 Navion iQ

I've always wanted recliners in my rig. I finally did it. The big problem in the 2011 Navion iQ is that the slide mechanism is mounted on top of the floor in the slide out rather than under it. That means I had to build a new floor above the slide out mechanism.

Pros - They are incredibly comfortable! They can recline with the slide in, and one can go fully flat with the slide in.

Cons - I brush the top of my head when I sit down. I suspect my dog won't be able to jump up on them (might be a pro). The worst con is that they almost completely block the window.

I'll keep them in for now. I've attached pictures.

Did you mount seat belts or do you only travel as two?

Thanks for sharing your solution, Benagami. Nice DIY project.
I've been thinking about getting a loveseat to my rv so your post is really inspiring.
But as for now I'm trying to figure out whether the model I found (from Divano) is wall-hugger or not, hah. Not so many info from the seller, unfortunately.

Lambright makes very nice and extremely comfortable furniture. I looked at them at the Tampa RV Supershow and was very impressed with their quality and comfort. They come with manual or power controls and have options for drawers, wireless charging, and flip up tables. They offer many nice styles and sizes. I understand they will remove your old setup to install a new Lambright if you go to their factory near Shipshewana, In. They are very competitively priced. Here is a catalog.

I purchased recliners from Lambright. They removed my old couch and installed the recliners. They are very comfortable and well made.

Thanks for sharing! Can you share how much did it cost you and which model you choose?

Looking for alternatives since Divano failed me: the option I was looking at Roma (56 x 29 x 39 in) is a regular recliner from what I found so, unfortunately, it won't work out. I'm interested in Lambright Superior now, but it's kinda bigger - 58"w x 38"h x 35"d. It should fit, but I decided to ask you and SSTraveler about pricing before pulling a trigger.

So thanks in advance!

Glastop RV Furniture out of Florida was one of the Lambright furniture dealers at the Tampa RV Supershow, http://www.glastop.com/rv-furniture...4t2Zhw8pBNExxLBuhZ41OcZaRfD6WhNhoCgnMQAvD_BwE. I really liked the drawer and flip down cup holder in the love seat. The other dealer was Bradd and Hall out of Elkhart, In, https://www.braddandhall.com/ProductCart/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=97. Both do custom work and will remove your old and install the new. As you can see you are talking of spending $1500-$2800 depending on size, material and options. I can tell you the ultra leather recliners, love seats and theater seats I tried out were extremely comfortable and very high quality!

You also might want to consider RecPro, https://www.recpro.com/rv-modular-pieces/, who makes modular pieces that you can configure to your needs. Amazon sells it, https://www.amazon.com/s?i=aps&k=Recpro rv furniture &ref=nb_sb_noss_2&url=search-alias=aps. Or Thomas Payne, https://www.amazon.com/s?crid=3COB7...mas rv furniture,aps,268&url=search-alias=aps. Many RV dealers sell Thomas Payne from their store showrooms and will also remove the old and install. All RecPro and Thomas Payne furniture are made to be easy detached and back removed so you can get them inside the rv door and then plugged back into each other. You can either by individual sections to create your own or buy the sofa/love seat/ theater seat as a group, it's your option. Shop4seats, https://shop4seats.com/rv-furniture/sofa-beds/double-recliners.html, is another possibility.

Here is a video from Tito that shows how easy it is.
